Senior Advocate "Bet You Can't Make Me Laugh" Challenge

Senior Advocate "Bet You Can't Make Me Laugh Challenge" to benefit the Peninsula Agency on Aging for Older Americans Month.

Senior Advocate has created a virtual promotion to help raise money for the Virginia Peninsula Agency on Aging (PAA) for Older Americans Month (May, 2020.)  PAA provides crucial programs, services and access to community resources for seniors and their caregivers who live on the Peninsula.

Once you have selected an opponent, you much each indvidually register for the Challenge (form below.)

Senior Advcoate will be in touch within 48 hours of your registration with a selction of dates/times for the Challenge. 

Since we are doing this Challenge on Zoom, opponents do not need to be in the same area and each will be each competing from their own computer, laptop, tablet or smart phone. 

Rules:

1. Each participant will take turns reading their 15 (clean) jokes to their opponent.  

2. Points will be awarded everytime a person laughs, even if at their own joke. 

3. The winner is the opponent with the LEAST amount of points at the end of the Challenge.

WIthin 24 hours of the Challenge being completed, Senior Advocate will email both opponents a video link of the Challenge so you can share this to your social media sites to help raise awareness.  Senior Advocate and PAA will also be promoting the videos on our websites and social media sites.  

By registering for this Challeng you agree to the following terms:

I hereby grant Senior Advocate and their respective employees, affiliates, agents, officers, and directors (collectively the “Company”) an irrevocable right and permission to (i) use photographs and/or videotaping of me (“Images”) and (ii) to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of the Images to be used for public relations, news articles, advertising, research, social media channels, and inclusion on the Company website, presentations, or any other purpose by the Company. I agree that all negatives and positives, whether prints video, film, or sound recording are the property of the Company, or the person or entity designated by it, solely and completely.

I hereby release, acquit and forever discharge the Company, its current and former officers, directors, agents, and employees from any and all claims, demands, rights, promises, damages and liabilities arising out of or in connection with the use or distribution of said photographs and/or video recordings, including but not limited to any claims for invasion of privacy, appropriation of likeness or defamation.

I waive all rights I may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any exhibition, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such exhibiting, broadcasting, or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or film rental is charged. I also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or film taken by the Company, or the person or entity designated it by it.

I declare that I am eighteen 18 years old or older and am legally competent to execute this release or that I have acquired the written consent of my parent or guardian. I understand that the terms herein are contractual and not a mere recital, that this instrument is legally binding, and that I have voluntarily signed this document.

I have fully informed myself of this consent, waiver of liability, and release.
