About the event

Join us for our monthly series to 'step into the past' with vivid storytelling from dynamic historic character actors. Each month, a new interpreter will bring their compelling journey to life and respond to questions about the era in which they lived.

April 6: John Adams (October 30, 1735 - July 4, 1826) John Adams was a Founding Father from Massachusetts and the second President of the United States from 1797 to 1801. Join a conversation with Adams in 1812 as he is now a retired President.  Discuss with him his early life and upbringing, his education, and his personal life.  Feel free to ask Mr. Adams questions concerning his career as a lawyer and politician, perhaps about his having to defend British officers in the Boston Massacre. Reflect with him his time in the Continental Congress, his time as special emissary to France, and his terms as Vice President and President.
