Helping Heroes Month Caregiver Event

Are you providing care for a veteran with a disabling or chronic condition? 

Are you in need of additional support and/or resources to address your caregiving needs?  

August is Helping Heroes Month. One month to honor the millions of military and veteran caregivers in Virginia and throughout the United States who care for those wounded, ill, or injured who have served our Nation throughout wars and conflict.

In recognition of Helping Heroes Month, you are invited to join the Virginia Department of Veterans Services to learn about resources for veterans, their families, and caregivers. There will be representatives onsite to provide information on VA Benefits and VA Disability Compensation, as well as assistance with filing a claim, information on burial benefits, caregiver-related resources, and more.
